How it Works

Our U-Pick

Your picking of fresh organic produce runs between the second week of May until November.  We’re open  dawn to dusk seven days a week.  We begin with early pickings of asparagus, rhubarb, lettuces, spinach, kale,  green onions and herbs.  Seasonal bonuses allow extra freezer pickings of strawberries, sweet corn, green beans, and crops in superabundance. Later in the season we pre-pick vine crops and cool them to prevent spoilage and overgrowth.  Fall storage crops come into abundance and you will be offered “extras” for storage.

This season runs longer than our CSA farm share program.

Your First Picking

We ask that once you have committed by signing up that you call or  e-mail to arrange your first pick/training time.  After your initial training you are free to pick 24/7 any day.  Just pick up your supplies, your “pick list’, your wagon and enjoy picking your choices from our list.  Wash your veggies at our sink leaving stems and waste in our compost bin.  Pack up and take your wagon to your car.
